Program Assistant and Mentor

The program assistant is responsible for facilitating the curriculum and promoting participant and family engagement. Program days are on Tuesday/Thursday 3:00 pm-5:30 pm and Saturday 10:00 am-12:00 pm.

Other responsibilities include:  

  • Building relationships with participants and families
  • Teaching students basic STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) concepts
  • Facilitating field trips  
  • Attending staff meetings and professional development trainings
  • Maintaining and organizing lab inventory  
  • Supporting the program manager and other lead personnel with general administrative support as appropriate.

Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) individuals are encouraged to apply.

Pay Rate: $12/hr (20 hrs. per week for 16 weeks)
