My name is Norlan Wilson. I am currently a sophomore at the University of Houston, my chosen major is Chemical Engineering, and I am in the process of applying for a minor in Petroleum Engineering. I am working as a program mentor at Cage Elementary School through St. Elmo Brady STEM Academy where I enjoy mastering my knowledge and scientific understanding by sharing it with Students of 4th and 5th grade.
Furthermore, I am a transfer student with an associate in arts from Miami Dade College. My path in chemical engineering arose from being able to understand how everything that surrounds us work, and the complex mechanism process that is found to eventually use it for something that can be productive in society.
I really look forward to connecting with partners of the STEAM Academy that I am currently enforcing and industries in demand for students in my related field.
