My name is Jessica Sanchez, and I am a freshman studying Computer Science at the University of Houston. I am currently working as a program assistant at the Beatrice Mayes Institute for the St. Elmo Brady Academy Program.
If given the opportunity to be mentored by Chevron Phillips, I would love to understand the thought process of an engineer and explore different approaches to problem-solving. I am interested in seeing how the engineering design process is implemented in various cultural and professional aspects. I am also excited to develop my networking and professional skills as I begin my journey in my career.
