Site Coordinator and Mentor

The St. Elmo Brady STEM Academy is seeking a Site Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations and support the delivery of hands-on STEM programming for elementary students. This role includes mentoring students, facilitating curriculum, and coordinating logistics.

Program Schedule

  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays: 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
  • Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Maintain communication with school administrators and families
  • Instruct students in understanding STEM concepts
  • Facilitate field trips and hands-on activities
  • Co-coordinate the spring community engineering fair
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions
  • Maintain records and inventory
  • Provide administrative support to lead personnel

Qualifications

  • Experience in youth programming or education
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Interest in STEM education and community engagement
  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) applicants are encouraged to apply

Compensation

  • $15.00/hour
  • 15 hours/week for 16 weeks
